This is the neighborhood cat. His name is Peter. He started off as a very skittish fellow... and wouldn't let anyone touch him. Now, you cannot walk outside without getting smothered in love by Peter. If you sit down, he'll jump up with you. If you ignore him, he will rub against your legs. If he sees you sitting in the kitchen, he will jump up on the windowsill and meow with eyes as big and pathetic as Puss in Boots from "Shrek." My brother thinks I'm mean because I'm extremely allergic to Peter and don't want to touch him. To me, a runny nose, itchy & watery eyes, an itchy throat, itchy ears, and a slight rash just doesn't make touching him worth it.
